For more information on Private Print and Authentication Print, refer to "Printing Confidential Documents - Private
Charge Print -" (P.86) and "Printing Confidential Documents - Charge Print -" (P.88).
[Receive Control] must be configured to perform Authentication Print and Private Print. For details, refer to "[Charge /
Private Print Settings]" (P.140).
[Receive Control]
Configure how to handle received print jobs.
- [According to Print Accounting]
You can configure the handling of jobs for [Job Login Success], [Job Login Failure], and [Job Without User ID]
individually when the authentication and accounting features are being used and [Print Jobs] is [Limited] under
[Access Control] > [App Access].
Note
If [Job Login Success] is [Save as Private Charge Print Job], Secure Print, Sample Print, and Delayed Print instructions from
a printer driver are ignored.
- [Save as Private Charge Print Job]
Save all jobs with user IDs attached to Private Print, regardless of whether the authentication feature is on. In
addition, you can configure the handling of jobs for [Job Without User ID] and [Non-PJL Command Job(s)]
individually.
Note
If [Save as Private Charge Print Job] is configured, Secure Print, Sample Print, and Delayed Print instructions from a
printer driver are ignored.
- [Save as Charge Print Job]
Save all received jobs as Authentication Print regardless of whether the authentication feature is on.
Note
If [Save as Charge Print Job] is configured, Secure Print, Sample Print, and Delayed Print instructions from a printer driver
are ignored.
[Disable Active Settings]
Turn off forced printing temporarily even when forced watermarking, UUID printing, forced annotation, and other
forced printing is been configured.
Forced printing is turned off temporarily for Document Print and Digital Camera Print run when this function is
configured to [Enabled]. (Forced printing is not turned off for normal printing and reports and lists.)
Note
Watermarking specified for users by TrustMarkingBasic (sold separately) is not shut off.
[Job Status Default]
Limit the display of jobs that are running or waiting to run and logs. This protects privacy and limits data leaks
against unauthenticated users and users that are not job owners.
[Disable Direct Print Feature]
When this function is configured to [On], the Direct Print functions, such as Digital Print, Document Print, Mail Print,
and Mobile Print can no longer be used.
[Overwrite Storage]
Configure whether to erase the HDD Extension Kit (optional) by overwriting. When printing finishes after the erasure
process has been configured, data is deleted from the region of the HDD Extension Kit (optional) used by the
process, and then the information that was recorded is overwritten multiple times to ensure it is erased. This
prevents unauthorized retrieval or recovery of data that was recorded to the HDD Extension Kit (optional).
[Runtime Integrity Protection]
Configure whether to turn on the falsification-prevention function during operation.
