3.1 Touch panel display
Entering text
Entering text using a keyboard
Use the keyboard that appears on the touch panel display to enter text during configuration.
Note

Tap to change the input language.
Switching between online and offline
1. At the Home screen, tap [Device] > [Information & Reports] > [Print Mode].
2. Tap [On-line] or [Off-line].

[On-line]
Receive data from a computer.

[Off-line]
Data can no longer be received from a computer. In this case, data being received is interrupted and not printed.
Login Method
When the authentication feature is enabled, log in as an authenticated user when using the machine.
When configuring the machine, log in as the administrator.
After logging in, the user name is displayed in the authentication information display area.
Note

[Local User] is displayed, if the authentication feature is not enabled.

If you log in as a machine administrator, [Admin] is displayed. The default user ID and password for machine
administrators are “11111” and “x-admin”.
