2.2 Connecting Your Machine to a Computer
This machine supports wired LAN, USB, and wireless LAN connections. Install the print driver and other necessary
software after connecting.
Connecting to a Wired (Ethernet) Network
1. Press the <Power/Power Saver> button, and then select [Power Off Device] to turn off the power.
2. Remove the rear right cover of the machine.
3. Insert the network cable into the Ethernet connector of the unit.

Also, a cable can be connected to the Secondary Ethernet Connector when the Secondary Ethernet Kit (optional) is
installed.
4. Attach the rear right cover of the machine.
5. Connect the other end of the network cable to a hub or other network device.
6. Press the <Power/Power Saver> button to turn on the machine.
