8.4 Adjusting the fold position
You can adjust the paper folding positions by paper type and configure 10 types. Configured types are assigned to
each tray.
1. Load the paper in the tray to adjust the fold position.
2. Tap the display area of authentication information at the top left of the Home screen, and then log in as a
machine administrator.
3. Tap [Device].
4. Tap [Maintenance]>[Adjust Fold Position].
5. Tap [Fold Position Type Setup].
6. Set or select the paper fold position type that you wish to adjust.
7. Tap [Name].
8. Enter a name, and then tap [OK].
9. Tap [Save].

(P.202), "Adjusting the C fold position" (P.203), "Adjusting the Z fold position" (P.204), and "Adjusting the Z fold half sheet
position" (P.204).
10. Tap [Save].
Double-fold position adjustment
1. Tap [Single Fold].
2. Tap [Paper Supply], and then choose the paper that was loaded.
3. Configure the number of pages for [Sheets to be folded (1–5)].
4. Tap [Sample Printout].
5. Check the output sample that was printed, and then measure the offset amount.
If there is no offset, no adjustment is required.
When the printed page is larger
Adjustment is not needed.
