Optimum pairing procedure
The following procedure is used to “Pair” the base unit and ADTS Touch:
1) Place the ADTS Touch on (but not docked) or close to the base unit.
2) Power cycle the base unit and ADTS Touch.
3) On the ADTS Touch, select TOOLS. The TOOLS menu opens.
4) From the TOOLS menu >> BLUETOOTH. The BLUETOOTH menu opens.
5) Select NEW SCAN FOR DEVICES. The message Please wait scanning for devices
is displayed.NOTE: Must be done within five minutes of ADTS switch-on ADTS553/554F.
A list of available devices is displayed showing the software version and serial numbers of
the devices.
6) If necessary, scroll down the list and select (highlight) the desired base unit serial number
from the list.
7) Touch the “tick” icon to confirm the selection and close the list of devices. The base unit and
ADTS Touch are now “Paired”.
