Software updates
When software updates are available, they can be downloaded from the GE website to a USB
memory stick and used to update the applications on the ADTS and ADTS Touch.
Context sensitive help pages are updated with software version increments. ADTS (PDF) manuals
are updated without prompt when a newer version of the manual is available via the software
update procedure.
Alternatively only the ADTS manual can be downloaded to the ADTS Touch from a PC.
Downloading software updates
1) Insert a USB memory stick into the computer to be used for the software download.
2) Go to www.gemeasurement.com. The “GE Measurement & Control” page is displayed.
3) On the top level menu bar, click Support. Menu items under that header are shown.
4) Click Download Center. The “Download Center” page is displayed showing the search
panels.
5) Using the “Search by Product” drop-down search boxes, select:
- Test & Calibration.
- Pitot Static Testers.
A list of available downloads is displayed containing all available software updates, user
manuals and data sheets.
6) Select the appropriate software update required for the product from the list. The
“Open/Save” file dialogue is displayed.
7) Click the “Save File” radio button.
8) Click “OK”. The “Enter name of file to save....” dialogue is displayed.
9) Save the files directly onto the USB memory stick or to the computer.
10) If the downloaded files are saved onto the USB memory stick, you may transfer the files to
the computer, if required.
11) The downloaded files are contained within a “zip” folder, e.g. “ADTS5XX_Release_6.zip”. You
can choose to run this self-extracting file or simply unzip it to the required location.
12) The extracted directory, e.g. ADTS5XX_Release_6 contains a further five folders:
