MAINTENANCE
BRAKE
LEVER
ADJUSTMENT
Align the allowance
on the brake lever
with the index num-
ber on the adjuster.
The distance between the top of the brake lever and
the grip can be adjusted by turning the adjuster.

HEIGHT
ADJUSTMENT
Loosen the lock nut and turn the push rod as
required.
Tighten the lock nut to the specified torque.

NOTE:

The brake light switch on the front brake master
cylinder cannot be adjusted. If the front brake
light switch actuation and brake engagement are
not synchronized, either replace the switch unit
or the malfunctioning parts of the system.
Make the rear brake light switch adjustments
after the brake pedal height adjustment and the
brake pedal free play adjustment have been
made.
Recheck the brake light switch operation.
