MAINTENANCE
If the oil level is below or near the lower level mark
on the dipstick, add the recommended oil to the
Suggested oil: Honda "4-stroke motorcycle oil
" or
an equivalent
Oil recommendation:
API service classification
SG or higher
(except oils labeled as energy conserving on the
circular API service label)
Viscosity: SAE
IOW-30
JASO T903 standard: MA
NOTE:
Other viscosities shown in the chart may be used
when the average temperature in your riding area is
within the indicated range.
Make sure the 0-ring is in good condition
the oil filler capldipstick.

For engine oil change, refer to page 4-12.
ENGINE OIL FILTER
NOTE:
Change the oil with engine warm and the motorcy-
cle on its side stand to assure complete and rapid
draining.
Remove the oil filler capldipstick (page 4-1 1
).
Remove the oil drain bolt, sealing washer and drain
the oil.
