5. Properly dispose of used oil.
(1) Engine oil filter
IMPORTANT :
T
o prevent serious damage to the engine,
use only a KUBOTA genuine filter.
When replacing the engine oil filter:
Be careful not to allow any oil onto the
harness.
Use an oil pan or the like, which could
allow no oil to flow into the wire harness.
2. Changing engine oil
WARNING
T
o avoid personal injury or death:
Be sure to stop the engine before changing the
oil.
Allow the engine to cool down sufficiently; oil
can be hot and can burn.
1. T
o drain the used oil, remove the drain plug at the
bottom of the engine and drain the oil completely
into the oil pan.
2. After draining, reinstall the drain plug.
3. Fill with new oil up to the upper notch on the
dipstick.
(See LUBRICANTS, FUEL AND COOLANT on
page 106.)
NOTE :
In adding engine oil, use a funnel or the like.
4. Properly dispose of used oil.
