5.1 Fuel gauge
WARNING
T
o avoid personal injury or death:
⢠Before adding the fuel, be sure to stop the
engine.
⢠Be sure to keep open flames away from the
machine. Otherwise a fire may result.
If the fuel in the tank goes below the prescribed level,
the fuel-stock-indicator will turn on.
If fuel-stock-indicator should turn on during operation,
refuel as soon as possible.

the fuel-gauge-indicator is near the

as soon as possible. If the indicator of fuel

slope, the engine may run out of fuel.
5.1.1 How to use the fuel level audible
indication switch
Y
ou can use the fuel-level-audible-indication-switch to
check the fuel level when refueling.
1. With the starter key at the [STOP] position, press
the fuel-level-audible-indication-switch.
you can check the fuel level with buzzer sound.
2. Start refueling the machine.
The buzzer beeping intervals vary according to how
much fuel is poured into the tank. As the machine
becomes filled up, the buzzer sounds almost
continuously.
3. While refueling the machine, listen to the buzzer
sound to know how much the fuel tank is filled.
If fuel is poured too slowly, the buzzer sound gets
interrupted. When fuel is poured again as usual, the
buzzer restarts sounding.
4. To stop refueling halfway before filling up, press the
fuel-level-audible-indication-switch or leave as it is
(not refueling) for a while.
The buzzer stops sounding.
