Chapter 13 ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATION
1.5.3 Belt tension (water pump) - Adjust
V-belt drive
(1) Remove the belt cover.
(2) Loosen all the fixing bolts of tension bracket.
(3) Turn the tension bolt to adjust the belt tension.
(4) Secure the tension bolt with lock nut.
(5) Tighten all the fixing bolts of tension bracket.
(6) Install the belt cover.
Water pump Belt (V-belt Drive) Tension - Adjust
Ribbed belt drive
(1) Remove the belt cover.
(2) Loosen all the fixing bolts of tension bracket.
(3) Turn the tension bolt to adjust the belt tension.
(4) Secure the tension bolt with lock nut.
(5) Tighten all the fixing bolts of tension bracket.
(6) Install the belt cover.

(Water pump for Air cooler)
(1) Remove the belt cover.
(2) Loosen all the fixing bolts of tension bracket.
(3) Turn the tension bolt to adjust the belt tension.
(4) Secure the tension bolt with lock nut.
(5) Tighten all the fixing bolts of tension bracket.
(6) Install the belt cover.
