ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
BATTERY
REMOVAL
Remove Ihe battery cover. (c:::J' 6-2)
Remove the battery holder.
Remove the battery.
NOTE:
Disconnect the 1-
battery
lead wire, first.

SERVICING
Visually inspect the surface of the battery container.
If
any signs

cracking or electrolyte leakage from me Sides

have occurred, replace the battery with a new one.

terminals are found to be coated with rust

an acidic white
powdery substance, clean the battery terminals with sandpa-
per.
