3A-4 Drive Chain / Drive Train / Drive Shaft:
Installation
Install the secondary driven gear assembly in the
reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following
points:
• Apply engine oil to the O-ring (1).
CAUTION
!
Use a new O-ring (1) to prevent oil pressure
leak.
• Apply grease to the O-ring (2).
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
CAUTION
!
Use a new O-ring (2) to prevent oil leakage.
• Install the secondary driven bevel gear assembly and
tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Secondary driven gear case bolt (a): 26 N·m (2.6
kgf-m, 19.0 lb-ft)
• Install the speed sensor. Refer to “Speed Sensor
Removal and Installation in Section 9C (Page 9C-6)”.
Secondary Driven Gear Disassembly and
Assembly

and Installation (Page 3A-3)”.
Disassembly
1) Remove the oil jet (1) and shims (2).
2) Remove the secondary driven bevel gear assembly
(3).
3) Remove the shims (4).
