Front Brake Caliper Parts Inspection

Refer to “Front Brake Caliper Disassembly and
Assembly (Page 4B-4)”.
Brake Caliper Cylinder
Inspect the brake caliper cylinder wall for nicks,
scratches or other damage. If any damage is found,
replace the caliper with a new one.
Brake Caliper Piston
Inspect the brake caliper piston surface for any
scratches or other damage. If any damage is found,
replace the piston with a new one.
Brake Pad Mounting Pin
Inspect the brake Pad mounting pin for wear and other
damage. If any damage is found, replace the mounting
pin with a new one.
Brake Pad Spring
Inspect the brake pad springs for damage and excessive
bend. If any defects are found, replace them with new
ones.
Boots
Inspect the boots for damage or wear. If defects are
found, replace them new ones.
Caliper holder
Inspect the caliper holder for damage. If any damages
are found, replace the caliper holder with new ones.
