After refacing the valve seat or replacing
the valve and valve guide, lap the valve seat
and valve face.

1. Install:
● Valve stem seal 1
● Valve 2
● Spring seat 3
● Valve spring 4
● Spring retainer 5
2. Install:
● Valve cotter 6
NOTE:
Compress the valve spring with the special
tools and install the cotters onto the valve.
