44 Mechanical installation
Required tools
The tools required for moving the unit to its final position, fastening it to the floor and
tightening the connections are listed below:
• crane, fork-lift or pallet truck (check load capacity!), iron bar and jack
• Pozidrive and Torx (2.5…6 mm) screwdrivers for the tightening the frame screws
• torque wrench
• set of wrenches or sockets.
Unpacking
Unpack and move the unit according to the instructions given in section Moving the unit.
Checking the delivery
The converter delivery contains:
• converter cabinet
• options (if ordered) installed at the factory
• installation stand for the converter module replacement (if ordered)
• lifting bars.
Following equipment are located in the floor of the inverter module cubicle:
• fastening equipment kit for fastening the cabinet to the roof
• appropriate manuals and guides
• optional module manuals
• delivery specific circuit diagrams
• delivery specific dimensional drawings
• delivery specific test reports
• delivery documents.
Lead-through frame and sealing modules (if ordered) are located in the cubicles they are
to be installed in.
Check that there are no signs of damage. Before attempting installation and operation,
check the information on the type designation label of the converter to verify that the unit is
of correct type. The label includes IEC and UL rating, type code and serial number that
allow the identification of each unit. For further information, see section Type designation
labels on page 38.
