Undo and remove the lower screw,
paying attention to the rear brake lever
placed on the right-hand side.
Upon refitting, replace clamps with the same type
and size of clamps.

Support the vehicle with a suitable under-sump stand.
•
Support the scooter rearcarriage with a hoist and suitable belts.
•
Remove the saddle.
•
Remove both central fairings.
•
Remove the six chassis side cover
clamps and loosen the lower screws to
rotate the cover rightwards.
•
Working from the right side, undo and
remove the screw and collect the collar
and the rubber ring.
