CHECK THE CLUTCH CONTROL CABLE IS IN GOOD CON-
DITIONS: THERE SHOULD BE NO SIGNS OF CRUSHING
OR WEAR ALL ALONG THE SHEATH.

Lubricate the clutch wire frequently with an appropriate grease to avoid early wear and cor-
rosion.

NOTE
IN COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL REGULATIONS IN FORCE, SPECIFIC PROCEDURES MUST BE
FOLLOWED WHEN CHECKING LIGHT BEAM ADJUSTMENT.
For a quick check of the correct adjustment of the
front light beam:
•
Place the vehicle 10 m (32.81 ft) away
from a vertical wall and make sure the
ground is level.
•
Turn on the low-beam light, sit on the
vehicle and check that the light beam
projected to the wall is a little below the
headlight horizontal straight line (about
9/10 of the total height).
To adjust the light beam:
•
Operating on both sides, undo the
screw.
•
Adjust the headlamp until the desired
position is obtained.
•
Working from both sides, tighten the
screw. After adjusting:
NOTE
CHECK THAT THE LIGHT BEAM VERTICAL DIRECTION IS
CORRECT.
