Install
1. Piston rings (onto the piston)
• Install rings so that
manufacturer’s numbers or
markings face upward.
• Lubricate with engine oil
2. Piston (1)
• Install piston pin (2)through
piston wall, Rod, piston wall
• Install piston pin clips(3)
3. Cylinder
• O-ring
• 10mmbolts
42Nm or 31 ft lbs
• 6mmbolts
10Nm or 7 ft lbs
Install the cylinder with one
hand while compressing the
rings with the other hand.
Caution:
Be careful not to damage the timing
chain guide during installation. Pass
the timing chain through the timing
chain cavity.
