Periodic Maintenance
Maintenance and Adjustment of the UV
Standard compression pressure
data Compression pressure
(At sea level)
Standard:950Kpa(135.14Psi)
Minimum:900Kpa(128.02Psi)
Maximum:1000Kpa(142.25Psi)
· Above the maximum pressure:
Check the cylinder head, valve
surface, and piston crown for carbon
deposits.
· Below the minimum pressure:
Check the accumulation carbon in the
firebox of the cylinder head and
accumulation carbon on the piston
head.
When test is complete reinstall the spark
plug and lower the cargo bed.
Checking the engine oil level
1.
Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2.
Remove the seat bottom
and engine access panel.
3.
Unscrew the dipstick and check the
oil level.
Oil level should be between the
Maximum and Minimum Level
on the dipstick.
If low add oil to the proper level.
NOTE:
Do not screw the dipstick in when
checking the oil level, it is checked with
the dipstick sitting on the threads.
1.
Start the engine and let it warm up
for several minutes.
2.
Stop the engine, wait a couple
minutes for the oil to settle and
recheck the oil level.
Reinstall the seat bottom and engine
access panel.
Note:
Use only API Service Classification SJ or Higher
and JASO-MA Grade
