Maintenance and Adjustment of the UV
Adjusting the Brake Pedal
1)
Check Brake pedal Free play
1-4 mm
2)
Adjust:
•
Loosen the locknut(1)
•
Turn the brake rod (2) in or
out until the correct free play
is obtained.
Note:
The end of the brake rod should lightly
contact the brake master cylinder.
•
Tighten the locknut to correct
torque.
3)
Make sure there is no drag on the
front or rear wheels when trying to
move the UTV.
Adjusting the Parking Brake Free Play
1)
Shift the drive select lever into Low
gear “L”.
2)
Remove:
•
Hood Cover
•
Under Hood Access Panel
3)
Check the Parking Brake cable
free play (a).
4)
Adjust:
•
Pull back the adjuster cover
(1)
•
Loosen the locknut(2)
•
Turn the adjuster in or out to
achieve proper free play.
•
Tighten the locknut
•
Slide the adjuster cover
back to its original position.
