Section 9 - Maintenance

The router allows you to adjust the power consumption of the hardware based on your actual usage. The two
ā€œgreenā€ options available for your LAN switch are Power Saving by Link Status and Length Detection State.
1. Click Maintenance > Diagnostics > Power Saving.
Power Saving
Field Description
By Link Status
With ā€œPower Saving by Link Statusā€ option toggled to ON, the total power consumption by the LAN switch
is dependent function of on the number of connected ports. The overall current draw when a single port is
connected is less than when all the ports are connected.
By Cable Length Detection
With ā€œLength Detection Stateā€ option toggled to ON, the overall current supplied to a LAN port is reduced
when a smaller cable length is connected on a LAN port.
Save Click to save and activate your settings.
2. Complete the elds from the table below and click Save.
