Routing Logs
Path: Maintenance > Logs Settings > Routing Logs
Traī¬c can be tracked based on whether the packet was accepted or dropped by the īærewall. Denial of service
attacks, general attack information, login attempts, dropped packets, and similar events can be captured for
review.
Note: Enabling logging options may generate a signiī£cant volume of log messages and is recommended for
debugging purposes only.
Traī¬c through each network segment (LAN, WAN, DMZ) can be tracked based on whether the packet was
accepted or dropped by the īærewall.
Accepted Packets are those that were successfully transferred through the corresponding network segment (i.e.,
LAN to WAN). This option is particularly useful when the Default Outbound Policy is āBlock Alwaysā so you can
monitor traī¬c that is passed through the īærewall.
Dropped Packets are packets that were intentionally blocked from being transferred through the corresponding
network segment. This option is useful when the Default Outbound Policy is āAllow Alwaysā.
1. Click Maintenance > Log Settings > Routing Logs.
