For

The
components
that
must
be
added
vary
depending
on
the
installation
pattern.
Table
9-1
is
a
list
of
the
components
that
must
be
added
during
installation
for
expansion
to
up
to
the
4BB
configuration
with
direct
connections
between
chassis.
Any
installation
with
expansion
to
the
5BB
configuration
or
larger
requires
the
new
installation
of
an
expansion
rack.
For
installation
with
expansion
to
up
to
the
8BB
configuration,
expansion
rack
1
is
required.
For
the
9BB
to
16BB
configurations,
expansion
rack
2
is
required
in
addition
to
expansion
rack
1.
The
dedicated
power
distribution
units
(PDUs),
crossbar
boxes,
and
cables
required
for
the
installation
are
shipped
mounted
in
the
expansion
racks.

2,

9.2 Installing
the
SPARC
M10-4S
This
section
describes
the
procedure
for
installing
only
the
SPARC
M10-4S.
This
procedure
corresponds
to
patterns
A
and
B
(2)
in
Figure
8-1
as
well
as
pattern
C
(2)
in
Figure
8-2.
The
SPARC
M10-4S
is
installed
in
one
of
three
ways:
installation
while
the
physical
partition
(PPAR)
that
is
the
incorporation
destination
is
operating,
installation
after
only
the
physical
partition
is
stopped,
or
installation
after
the
input
power
to
the
Fujitsu
M10/SPARC
M10
