Sending Data Using the FTP Client
Data transmission times
Transfer time (s) = File size (KB) / transfer speed (KB/s) + transfer preparation time (s)
For more information about le sizes, see “11.9 File Size” (p. 395).
Use 4 MB/s as a rough transfer speed and 3 s as a rough transfer preparation time.
Example: For a 40 MB le
Transfer time = 40 MB/4 (MB/s) + 3 (s) = 10 + 3 (s) = 13 (s)
Checking FTP communications status
This section describes how to check the FTP communications status.
You can display the number of les sent by FTP, the number of transmission errors, and other
statistics.

Press the ENTER key while [FTP data auto send settings...] is selected.
The settings window will open.

Under [FTP communication status], check the le counters.
Total, Sent, Failed, Unsent
The counters will be reset to 0 under the following circumstances:
• Press the ENTER key while [Clear] is selected.
