Selective save operation
This section describes how the system works when [Select & Save] is selected under [SAVE key
settings].
Saving waveform data

Press the SAVE key.
A window will be displayed.

Enter the lename in the [File name] eld (up to 8 single-byte characters).
See “Text entry method” (p. 10).
When you enter a le name ending in a letter other than a number, the four-digit number 0001 will
be appended to the entered name. This trailing number will increase in increments of one for the
subsequent les.
Example:
Filename: [ABC], Format :binary
ABC0001.MEM, ABC0002.MEM, ABC0003.MEM, . . .
When you entered a le name ending in a number, the trailing number will increase in increments
of one for the subsequent les.
Example:
Filename: [ABC100], Format: binary
ABC100.MEM, ABC101.MEM, ABC102.MEM, . . .
If you do not specify a lename, a lename will be assigned automatically.
See “When saving les without specifying a lename” (p. 136).
Under [Add trigger date/time], select whether to add date and time to the lename.
Does not add the trigger activation date and time to the waveform data lename.
Adds the trigger activation date and time to the end of the waveform data lename.
When the [Add trigger date/time] check box is selected, the le is named as below.
Entered lename_191224_235959_0001.MEM (when the trigger activated at 23:59:59 on December 24, 2019)

Under [Media], select the media on which to save data.
