11.3 Wireless Module Communications Range
The communications range between the LR8450-01 and wireless modules is about 30 m (line of
sight).
If there are obstructions between the two devices (for example, walls, metal shielding, etc.),
communications may become unstable, and the communications range may be reduced.
Devices exhibit variability in radio îš¿eld intensity (as shown by the antenna indicator), even in the
same environment.
Placing the LR8450-01 and its wireless modules on the oor or ground will reduce the
communications range.
The communications range can be extended by moving the devices away from the oor or ground,
for example by placing them on a workbench or stand.
