Add a Test Code I.D. Prefix to All Symbologies
This selection allows you to turn on transmission of a Code I.D. before the decoded
symbology. (See the Symbology Charts, beginning on page 221 for the single char-
acter code that identifies each symbology.) This action first clears all current pre-
fixes, then programs a Code I.D. prefix for all symbologies. This is a temporary
setting that is removed when the unit is power cycled.
Show Software Revision
Scan the bar code below to output the current software revision, unit serial number,
and other product information for the 8680i.
Test Menu
When you scan the Test Menu On code, then scan a programming code in this
manual, the 8680i displays the content of a programming code. The programming
function still occurs, but in addition, the content of that programming code is out-
put to the terminal.
Note: This feature should not be used during normal 8680i operation.
