9.10.10.8 Auto-Calibration
Micro GC Fusion has the ability to automatically recalibrate a previously calibrated
method. Depending on the setup of Micro GC Fusion, the auto-calibration can be set
up in different ways.
• Single level calibration
• Multi-level calibration
• Multi-level calibration using a Valco Stream Selector
9.10.10.8.1 Single Level Calibration

Create a
Sequence
called
Calibration
. (See Add Sequence [}170])

From the shortcut menu, select
Calibration Runs
.

Type the number of step repetitions and the method. If desired, add a delay
between each repetition.

Type the number of runs to average and the level in which the averaging should
take place.

Average Last
- The number of previous runs used when averaging
component areas. This is known as "Average Replicates."
ð
Level
- The level in which the auto-calibration should take place. Within this
level the component areas will be replaced as long as the new values are
within 10% of the previous value. A single level calibration should have the
number

entered after level.
