The EX4100 switch models have eld-replaceable units (FRUs) such as AC/DC power supplies and fan

modules. The EX4100-F (xed-form) switch models have built-in power supplies and fans.

EX4100 switch models are:

EX4100 gigabit switch models

• EX4100-24P, EX4100-24T, EX4100-48P, and EX4100-48T. See "EX4100-24P, EX4100-24T,

EX4100-48P, and EX4100-48T" on page 4.

EX4100 mulgigabit switch models

• EX4100-24MP and EX4100-48MP. See "EX4100-24MP and EX4100-48MP" on page 10

EX4100-F (xed-form) switch models are:

• EX4100-F-24T, EX4100-F-24P, EX4100-F-48P, and EX4100-F-48T. See "EX4100-F-24P, EX4100-

You can manage EX4100 and EX4100-F switches from the cloud and on premise. The switches allow for

simple, ecient, and scalable network management using cloud-based hosted management applicaons,

on-premise management tools, and APIs.

Because EX4100 and EX4100-F switch models support Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) technologies, you

can deploy them anywhere: core, distribuon, or access layer. This aspect of the switch models also

allows for a network overlay that provides uniform mulsite connecvity.

Mulgigabit port conguraons supporng MACsec AES256 encrypon allow you to use Wi-Fi 6 access

points to provide secure and scalable bandwidth usage for users and applicaons.

You can manage EX4100 and EX4100-F switches from the CLI.

—The EX4100 and EX4100-F family of switches are single-rack unit devices. They are
