METHOD
FOR CHANGING OIL IN HYDRAULIC TANK, REPLACING HYDRAULIC
OIL FILTER ELEMENT, AND CLEANING HYDRAULIC TANK STRAINER
WARNING
• Immediately
after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn in-
jury. Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.
• When removing the oil filler cap, the oil may spurt out. Turn it slowly to release the internal pres-
sure, then remove it.
• Refill capacity: 138 ℓ
1.
Stop the machine on a level place.
2.
Set the machine in the posture shown below for checking the oil level, and stop the engine.
Lower
the blade (a) to the ground so that the tilt cylinder
length is the value in the following table.
Lower the ripper (b) to the ground with the pin at the bot-
tom so that the length of each cylinder is the value in the
following table.

Turn the cap of the oil filler port (F) slowly and release the
internal pressure.
4.
Remove the cap.
5.
Remove the drain plug (1) at the bottom of the hydraulic
tank.
6.
Loosen the drain valve (2) and drain the oil.
When
loosening the drain valve (2), be careful not to get
splashed with oil.
7.
After draining the oil, close the drain valve (2) and tighten
the drain plug (1).
