When “Call for Service” Message Is Displayed
A “Call for Service” message indicates a machine condition that requires the attention of
your service representative.
The Call for Service Screen usually displays the telephone and facsimile numbers of your
service representative.
When the Call for Service Screen is displayed, be sure to contact
your service representative immediately by following the procedure
below.
1. Make note of the Report code No. indicated in the second line of the
message area.
If your machine uses the Remote Diagnostics option and is automatically
monitored by your service representative, the Key Operator can call for service
using the Key Operator setting. See p. 13-50.
After calling for service using the Key Operator setting, be sure to turn OFF the
power switch and main power switch immediately, then unplug the machine.
2. Turn OFF the power switch and main power switch.
