17.5 Changing RM Settings
17.5.1 Accessing RM Menus
îš„ By selecting the RM parameter window, you can access the [RM Setup] menu.
îš„ By selecting the Paw wave, you can access the [Paw Waveform] menu.
îš„ By selecting the Flow wave, you can access the [Flow Waveform] menu.
îš„ By selecting the Vol wave, you can access the [Vol Waveform] menu.
17.5.2 Setting the Apnea Alarm Delay
In the [RM Setup] menu, select [Apnea Time] and then select the appropriate setting. The
monitor will alarm if the patient has stopped breathing for longer than the preset apnea time.
17.5.3 Selecting TV or MV for Display
To select tidal volume (TV) or minute volume (MV) for display in the Vol parameter window,
in the [RM Setup] menu, select [TV/MV] and toggle between [TV] and [MV]. By default,
the Vol parameter window displays TV values.
17.5.4 Selecting Flow or Vol Waveform for Display
To select Flow or Vol waveform for display:
1. Select the currently displayed Flow or Vol waveform to enter its waveform menu.
2. Select [Flow/Vol] and toggle between [Flow] and [Vol].
17.5.5 Changing the Wave Sweep Speed
1. Select your desired waveform to enter its waveform menu.
