J51 Box In
The J51 Box In connector provides an interface for connecting multiple
MTS controller boxes together to allow sharing of station interlock
status and a master synchronization clock.
Master/dependent
input
The master/dependent input setting (connector pin 8) determines
whether a controller box is master or dependent in the multi-box
chain. If this pin is jumpered to ground the controller is dependent, if
not it is the master. Upon a CPU or interlock reset, software checks the
state of this pin, and configures the controller box accordingly.
