3-3 Safety I/O Functions
The following sections describe the safety I/O functions of the Safety I/O Units.
The Safety Input Unit diagnoses the connected external devices and other things through the safety
input terminals. The safety input devices and standard input devices that can be connected to the
safety input terminals of the Safety Input Unit are listed in the following table.
You can set the above parameters for the following general-purpose input devices.
The following OMRON Special Safety Input Devices can be connected directly without a special con-
troller (This applies only to the NX-SIH400.)
