31.2. Temperature sensor cleaning
In order to ensure correct temperature measurements during testing procedure,
pay special attention to cleanness of the temperature sensor.
Any cleaning activities of the temperature sensor should be carried out with
maintaining special precautions.
REMEMBER, before initiating any maintenance or cleaning activities
of moisture analyzer’s inner parts, switch off the moisture analyzer by
pressing ON/OFF key on terminal’s overlay, and make sure the power
cord of the moisture analyzer is unplugged from mains!
Temperature sensor should cleaned using a soft fabric with addition of a mild
detergents. Do not use any abrasive agents or solvents, as they may damage
the temperature sensor.
While cleaning make sure not to touch the heating filament, as it may damage it.
If necessary it is permissible to clean filament’s shield. Clean the filament’s
shield using a soft and dry fabric only. Do not touch the filament while cleaning
the shield.
