Rittal Base/Plinth System
The Rittal Base/Plinth System VX25 is available from Rittal Corporation in 100
mm (4.0 in.) and 200 mm (8.0 in.) heights. To find the total height of a bay and
its mounting hardware, add the mounting hardware height to the bay height
stated in Approximate Dimensions on page 29
. Consider the height of the
mounting hardware for Overhead Clearance on page 37
.
This mounting system provides a base for each corner of a Rittal TS 8
enclosure. Use four corner bases to support each bay, including each
individual bay that is part of a shipping section. Optional trim panels can be
used along the perimeter of the lineup. Each corner base attaches to a corner of
the enclosure using an M12 screw that is included with the system. Hardware
for attaching the corner base to the mounting surface is not included. The
recommended hardware for attaching a corner base to the mounting surface is
an M12 anchor bolt, like the one shown in Figure 42 on page 44
.
Table 1
shows some configurations of the base system under a single bay.
These drawings provide simplified block diagram views of the system. The
arrow on the left side of each drawing indicates the front side of the bay. For
