IMPORTANT: The three-level ophthalmic rack Long is designed to be used only with the RIGID MIS cycle.
IMPORTANT: If unsure about a specific instrument or material, refer to the Operator Manual or contact the manufacturer
for recommended washing techniques.
Anesthesia/Respiratory Racks
• Anesthesia/Respiratory rack — long is designed to be used in the washer/disinfector for the efficient cleaning,
rinsing, drying and intermediate level disinfection of different types of anesthesia tubing, bags, masks and
respiratory goods. Refer to the Anesthesia/Respiratory rack — long Operator Manual for more information on
loading and routine maintenance.
IMPORTANT: The Anesthesia/Respiratory rack — long is designed to be used only with the ANESTHESIA cycle.
The anesthesia/respiratory rack — long is specifically designed to only process goods as outlined in the Operator
Manual. If there is any doubt about a specific material or product, contact the instrument manufacturer for
recommended washing techniques.
RAS 12 Rack
• RAS 12 Rack is used in the Washer/Disinfector for the automated reprocessing of select reusable robotic assisted
surgery instruments. Refer to market specific RAS 12 Racks OPERATOR MANUAL for more information on intended
use, proper loading, cycle description and routine maintenance.
3.8 Flexible Hoses for Cannulated Instruments (Accessory)
Multi-level manifold racks (see Section 3.6, Accessories — AMSCO 7052HP WD and/or Section 3.7, Accessories — AMSCO
7053HP W/D) are equipped with irrigation ports. If desired, dedicated flexible hoses (provided within Flexible hoses for
cannulated instruments accessory) can be connected to irrigation ports to allow processing of cannulated instruments.
NOTE: The Flexible hoses for cannulated instruments accessory can be ordered by contacting STERIS. Flexible hoses
are installed as per INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (920508542) provided with the accessory.
Connecting Cannulated Instruments
To connect cannulated instruments to flexible hoses, proceed as follows:
1. Ensure flexible hoses are connected to irrigation ports as per Installation Instructions (920508542).
