Carburetor Assembly

Reassemble the carburetor in the reverse order of
disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
Apply thin coat of the grease to new pilot screw O-
ring.
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-ring with new one.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
After cleaning, reinstall the pilot screw to the original
setting by turning the screw (1) in until it lightly seats,
and then backing it out the same number of turns
counted during disassembly.
Install a new plug by tapping it into place with a punch.
(For tampering plug type)
Check the float height. Refer to “Float Height
Inspection and Adjustment (Page 1G-21)”.
Install a new O-ring to the float chamber body
properly.
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
Install the diaphragm.
NOTE
When installing the diaphragm, mark sure the
tab of the diaphragm is aligned with the
concave section of the carburetor bodys rim.
Apply the grease to the thread part of the throttle stop
screw, then install the throttle stop screw to the
carburetor.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
