5A-7 Automatic Transmission:
6) Remove the front fender. Refer to “Exterior Parts
Removal and Installation in Section 9D (Page 9D-
3)”.
7) Remove the induction box assembly (5).
Installation
1) Install the V-belt cooling ducts as shown in the V-belt
cooling duct construction. Refer to “V-belt Cooling
Duct Construction (Page 5A-6)”.
2) Install the removed parts.
Clutch Engagement and Lock-up Speed
Inspection

Removal
V-belt outer cover
1) Remove the right footrest mudguard. Refer to
“Exterior Parts Removal and Installation in Section
9D (Page 9D-3)”.
2) Remove the right footrest. Refer to “Footrest
Removal and Installation in Section 9E (Page 9E-2)”.
3) Remove the brake pedal. Refer to “Rear Brake
Pedal Removal and Installation in Section 4A
(Page 4A-12)”.
4) Remove the V-belt outer cover (1).
5) Remove the gasket (2) and dowel pins.
Movable drive face
1) Remove the movable drive face nut with the special
tool.
2) Remove the movable drive face assembly (1).
Special tool
(A): 09930–40113 (Rotor holder)
Movable driven face
1) Remove the movable driven face nut with the special
tool.
2) Remove the movable driven face assembly (1) with
drive V-belt (2).
Special tool
(A): 09930–40113 (Rotor holder)
