This section
describes the basic operation of the major circuit blocks in the BG7
module.
Bus interface
This block provides the communication between the mainframe and the module
circuit.
Sync generator
The block creates the digital data of NTSC/PAL black burst signal or HDTV
trilevel sync signal. When optional memories are added, sync generator 3 and 4
canalsog
enerate 10 field ID and NTSC/PAL color bar signals.
D/A con verter and amp
The b lock consists of a D/A converter, two amplifiers, and two filters (one is for
NTSC/PAL and another is for HD). The D/A converter converts the digital data
from th
e Sync Generator to an analog signal a nd reconstructs the signal for output.
