If there is a problem, first perform the SDI7 Performance Ve rification procedure,
found in the TG8000 Specifications and Performance Verification manual,
available on
the Web at www.tektronix.com/manuals. Any problems found with
that procedure can be a starting point for troubleshooting.
General pro
blems and actions to follow are shown in the following table.

• Fails Power On Self Test (POST)

• Verify that Option 3G is enabled. (See page 14-25,

• Frame picture m ode is not
working
•RuntheCheck module diagnostics procedure. (See

• If no other problem found, replace the SDI7 module.
