3.9 Pickup hitch
CAUTION:
With the pickup hitch lowered, DO
NOT do work between the hook
mechanism and the transmission
housing.
This pickup hitch (A) lets you tow implements,
equipment and trailers with a tow eye.
You can operate the mechanism that locks the
pickup hitch from the operator's seat.
Use the pickup hitch controls and the control lever
handle (B) to operate the pickup hitch.

Procedure
1. Lift the lift linkage to the maximum height.
2. Pull and hold the control lever handle (B) to
unlock the hook (C).
3. Lower the lift linkage to the correct height
while you pull the control lever handle (B).
4. Move the tractor into position.

5. Lift the lift linkage to engage the hook (C)
into the trailer's tow eye. Continue to lift the
pickup hitch until the hook (C) locks in
position.
6. Carefully lower the lift linkages until the hook
(C) holds the trailer weight.
7. Make sure that the pickup hitch is locked
correctly. It must not lower when the lift
linkage is lowered.
