4.12 Maintenance operations
4.12.1 Engine Oil Level Check
Remove the dipstick (A), wipe clean and re-insert it
fully. Remove again the dipstick (A) and check the
oil level. The acceptable operating range is
between the two marks on the dipstick.
IMPORTANT:
Do not operate the engine when the oil level is
below the lower mark on the dipstick.
In this case add specified oil through the filler neck
(refer to the "Recommended lubricants and
additives" section).

4.12.2 Drain the Engine Oil
Drain the oil when the engine is warm, remove the
plugs (1) (one for side) from the engine sump with
the tractor standing on level ground.
Refit and tighten the drain plug to a torque of 35
Nm.
Refill with an approved oil to the MAX mark on the
dipstick.
NOTE:
Allow time for the oil to settle in the sump before
rechecking the level.
NOTE:
An interval of 400 hours is the maximum. In
dicult working conditions the oil may need
changing more frequently (every 200 hours for
example).
WARNING:
Engine oil, filter and fuel filters need
to be changed every 200 hours when
using BIO-FUELS.
