3.1.19 Ballast weights
In some operating conditions, it is necessary to apply weight to the machine. This helps to increase the
force available at the drawbar or to keep the machine stable on slopes.
You can install ballast weights on the wheels, the front of the machine or the rear of the machine.
You must always install the correct quantity of ballast weight for the specified task and the ground
conditions.
Always make sure that the machine is correctly balanced between the front and the rear.
