Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
Removing
– Separate connection -1-.
– Remove bolts -2- and -3-.
– Take out sender.
Installing
Install in reverse order. Note the following points:
Lever on sender must face outwards.
– Perform basic setting of headlights following replacement.
Specified torques
Component Specified torque
Rear left vehicle level sender -G76- to subframe 5 Nm
Rear left vehicle level sender -G76- to lower transverse link 5 Nm

♦ Torque wrench -V.A.G 1332-
Removing
– Remove wheel.
– Remove coil spring ⇒ page 257 .
