Controlling the scan (continued)
Direction of document return
Except when scanning a collated set of documents, the scanner normally
returns the document to the forward (FRONT) position. The DOCUMENT
RETURN option may be set to either REAR or FRONT through access to
the Menu functions. The path to the DOCUMENT RETURN option is:
Menu/CONFIGURATION/ SCANNER CONTROL/ DOCUMENT RETURN/
FRONT or REAR.
To select DOCUMENT RETURN: FRONT or DOCUMENT RETURN: REAR,
perform the following steps:
1. Ensure that the “READY...” screen is displayed.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Press the Next key until “CONFIGURATION” is selected.
4. Press the Enter key.
5. Press the Next key until “SCANNER CONTROL” is selected.
6. Press the Enter key.
7. Press the Next key until “DOCUMENT RETURN:” is selected.
8. Press the Enter key.
9. Press the Next key to alternate between “FRONT” and “REAR”.
10. When the desired choice is displayed, press the Enter key.
11. Press the Menu key to return to the “READY...” screen.
