Fuel pump module installation

• Fuel pump module assembly
NOTE:
Tighten the nuts to the specified torques in the
sequence shown.

1st:
3 N·m (0.3 kgf·m, 2.2 ft·lb)
2nd:
6 N·m (0.6 kgf·m, 4.4 ft·lb)

Fuel hose connection
1. Connect:
• Quick connector
Connecting steps:
1. Apply a thin coat of engine oil to the con-
tact surfaces of the fuel pipe 1.
2. Connect the quick connector 2 onto the
fuel pipe 1.
3. Push down on the locking slider 3 until it
clicks.
NOTE:
If the fuel hose quick connector 2 is not
installed completely onto the fuel pipe 1, the
locking slider 3 cannot be pushed down.
4. Confirm that the fuel hose quick connector
is correctly installed by making sure there
is a small amount of free play when the
quick connector is pulled and pushed.
NOTE:
If there is no free play in the fuel hose quick
connector, disconnect the fuel hose and check
the O-ring for damage and proper installation.
