1. Install:
• Stator coil assembly 1
NOTE:
Pass the pickup coil lead 2 between the cover
and the bolt hole a, and then hold the washer

Stator coil bolt 5:
15 N·m (1.5 kgf·m, 11.1 ft·lb)
Washer bolt 6:
5 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 3.7 ft·lb)
Pickup coil bolt 7:
5 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 3.7 ft·lb)

Flywheel magneto installation
1. Install:
• Starter clutch assembly 1
• Flywheel magneto 2
• Bolts 3
CAUTION:
Make sure that the starter clutch is in-
stalled into the outer flange so that the side
a is facing toward the flywheel magneto as
shown.
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the starter clutch rollers
before installation.
