Air cooler check
CAUTION:
The air cooler assembly should not be dis-
assembled.
1. Check:
• Air cooler assembly
Cracks/damage → Replace the air
cooler assembly.
• Air cooler holding pressure
Cannot be maintained → Replace the
air cooler assembly.
Checking steps:
NOTE:
When checking the air cooler, connect the
hoses 1 to the air cooler.
1. Connect the special service tool 2 to the
inlet or outlet of the air cooler water pas-
sage.
2. Cover the other end a of the water pas-
sage with a finger.
3. Apply the specified positive pressure and
check that the pressure is maintained.
4. Connect the special service tools 2 and
3 to the inlet and outlet of the air cooler
air passage.
5. Apply the specified positive pressure and
check that the pressure is maintained.
